How much longer????

The 2 week picture
The 3 week picture
I can't believe we are only about 2 weeks away from the due date!! We wouldn't mind if the baby came right now because we are so excited to know if we have a little boy or girl and are even more excited to get to know our baby. We want the baby to wait until the beginning of next week when he/she will officially be "full term" and the health risks decrease that much more. I think we are as ready as we are going to be so the waiting is getting harder and harder.

Things are still going well. We are going to the doctor's every week and things are progressing as they should. The baby is still very active which I love! That is probably one of the things I'm going to miss the most when the baby's born, but there are so many more things to love about having the baby here with us.

Our new enclosure

No, I'm not talking about the chicken coop Jacob wants to build. This is even bigger and better. Unfortunately I didn't take "before" pictures of the wooden fence that was falling over. We now have a very nice chain link fence that Jacob put up with help from his dad, mom, brothers Will, Fenton and Theron and Will's wife Debbie. I didn't take pictures of them putting up the poles, but I did get pictures of them finishing up the fence. Unfortunately Jacob's mom, Will, Debbie and Theron were only able to make it over for the pole party so I don't have any pictures of them. Thanks again to all of you who helped with the fence we really appreciate it and it looks GREAT!!!!!

The mugshots

We are almost down to 4 weeks!! The last week and a half I have started becoming more uncomfortable which includes what I think are a few Braxton-Hicks contractions. I've had some achy tummy muscles, but nothing too bad. I'm starting to have restless nights and a few times have gotten up and read because I couldn't stand to lay in bed any longer. I have been very fortunate to have had such a good pregnancy and wouldn't change it at all.

Only 6 more weeks!!!

It's so amazing how time flies when you're having fun. Minus the nausea the first few months, pain in the ribs and not being able to bend over, this has been a great and wonderful pregnancy. We had a doctors appointment the other day and everything is looking good and we're right on course. The baby is still very active and loves to stick its little bum out as far as it can so I usually have a bump on the top right side of my belly. Last night the baby was really pushed against the right side of my belly and Jacob had a great time feeling and moving the baby around a bit. It didn't take long for the baby to reclaim the space Jacob pushed him/her out of. Only a few more weeks and we will know if Daddy's newest hunting buddy will be a boy or girl.
