Only a few things left to do before it's ready for us to move in. We have enjoyed our time living with Grammy and Poppy and Theron and appreciate them letting us invade their space for a few months, but we are soooo excited to get into our house!!!!

I couldn't pass up the chance at letting Ryker experience his first ride on the little kid rides at some stores. I put him in it and he did not want to sit down. He was having a great time showing off what a big boy he is.

He was having a blast until I started the ride. Then he wasn't quite sure what to think.

By the time the ride was over he was ready to go.

Not the Puppy Pals!

I went in search of something that would help hold Ryker's head upright when he falls asleep in his car seat. I found these puppy pals and thought we would try them out. He didn't like them at first and pulled them off making the funniest faces in the process. When I got the camera out to take a picture of his funny faces he decided he wanted to be cute and smile.

Lucky for me I was able to catch him as he tried taking them off again. As you look at the following pictures imagine Ryker grunting and growling and screaming as he tries with all his might to get them off.

He finally decided he liked them and would keep them on.

They are working pretty well, but if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

Getting soooooo close

Over the last few weeks we've visited the house and the progress has been amazing. We are scheduled to do our final walk through the first week of April, close the 2nd week and paint a few rooms and move in by the end of the 2nd week. We are so excited and can't wait to get in and enjoy our new house!!

On our latest visit to the house it was all locked up so this is all we could see. The entire house is painted and the cabinets and counter tops are in. They are so close to being finished and yet we still have just over 3 weeks until we close. The house has come along so quickly and we couldn't ask for anything more!!

9 months old

I know there are a lot of pictures here, but I narrowed them down as much as I could. I just need to get on here more often and post more pictures during the month rather than trying to squeeze them all into one post.
This last month has been so much fun. Ryker is growing up so quickly and his personality is starting to really show. He loves to fake a cough when asked if he has a "bad cough" or when he hears someone else cough.
It's a good thing the weather is getting warmer because Ryker is going crazy having to be inside and he is driving me crazy.

Whenever he sees a mirror he gets so excited and has to at least wave at the little boy. He usually tries going in for a big wet slobbery kiss.

As you can see from these pictures, his tongue is hardly ever in his mouth.

At his 9 month appointment he weighed in at 23 lbs and 30" long. Needless to say, he has grown out of his infant carrier and into the big boy chair. He loved it at first, but has decided he doesn't like to be so confined and still not able to see out the windows.

Not only did we get a great car seat, but we also got a great entertainment center....

Uncle Andrew flew in from Maine to go to the races in Las Vegas and we were able to spend a few minutes with him before he left to go down and then again before he flew back home. We can't wait for him and Brandi to move back to Utah so we can see them all the time. That won't be for a while and for now they will be moving to Hawaii for a while. Vacation here we come!!!!

Ryker couldn't quite figure out what that stuff was growing on his face. He kept grabbing and rubbing it.

He also loves reading books.

Grammy tried reading to him, but he saw the camera. So much for story time.

He found the camera again. We are so blessed to have such a happy fun loving baby. He has a smile for everyone all the time.

I love seeing his little hands and monster feet sticking out from under the covers.
