Getting closer (and bigger)

Since I didn't post last week here are two weeks worth of pictures. It's getting pretty crowded in there, but another 7 1/2 weeks (roughly) and we will have our little one. We are so very excited and can't wait!!!

We have skunks at our house

It started out with Jacob painting the baby's room and ended up with the pictures below.

My handyman

These pictures don't do it the justice it deserves. When we moved in our windows had the condensation buildup between the panes which made it impossible to see out of half of them. Not only that, but we didn't want to put blinds up just to take them down to install new windows so we were using garbage bags and sheets as window coverings. With help from me, and Mom and Dad Whetstone, Jacob installed the two kitchen windows before he left for Turkey and within the first week or two after he returned he and Fenton installed the bedroom and front windows. We also have blinds on all the windows and it looks great!!

Only 9 weeks left!!

As much as I've loved being pregnant I can't wait to have the baby here, yet at the same time I feel like I need more time to get ready for him or her. If it doesn't look like I've gotten any bigger it's because the baby has found it's place in my ribs and is growing there. OUCH!

Camping trip

We went with my family out to Condie Meadows for our annual Easter camping trip. We were out there for a few days and the weather was pretty nice for the most part. We had a lot of fun riding the ATVs and just kicking back with the family. We took Roxy and Tater, Mom and Dad brought Rooty and Jacob's brother, Fenton, brought his dog Dexter. They had a great time riding around on the ATVs.

I'm horrible about taking pictures when there are a lot of people around so I didn't get many good ones of the human family. I'll try to do better and post them next time.

Jacob's finally home!!!!!

Jacob has been in Turkey for the last 42 days or so and returned home about a week ago. I took the camera with me to take pictures when he came off the plane, but was so excited to see him that I forgot to take any. We did get a shot of the dogs when they realized their dad was home. We all missed him so so so much and are extremely excited to have him home!!

The weekly update

All in all this week has been uneventful. We are down to less than a week before Jacob gets home and the dogs and I are sooooo excited. Jacob bought a web cam and I was able to go to Mom and Dad Whetstone's and talk to him. It was so great seeing him and not just hearing his voice. He was definitely a sight for sore eyes. It just amazes me what technology allows us to do now a days.
